This ear ornament of King Seti the second was found in 1908 AD with other objects belonging to the King and Queen Taousert in a hidden place in the Valley of the Kings.

Ancient Egyptian Earrings - The Ear Ornament of Seti II

It consists of a flat trapezoid from which hang seven pendants blueberries. At the end of the tube of the upper hollow earring, which is adapted to hold up a wig, a corolla of petals eight concave on one side and a stud on the other.

Birth and names are engraved on the throne room flat. The use of earrings and ear ornaments as accessories to enhance the beauty of both sexes has been known since the time of the New Kingdom.
