Canopic Gold Miniature Coffin of Tutankhamun
Inside the alabaster canopic chest of King Tutankhamun was divided into four compartments, each holding a miniature coffin containing the viscera gold of the king, wrapped in bandages. These coffins were mummiform decorated inside with texts and outside with a feather design inlaid with carnelian and colored glass and titles of the king. Each coffin was under the protection of one of four son Horus. It was dedicated to Hapi and Nephthys.
