Four Canopic Jars of Thuya

These four alabaster jars contained packages in the shape of human mummies, each wrapped in cloth and topped by a small gilt mask.

Four Canopic Jars of Thuya

The masks are made of cartonnage, gilt outside and painted white inside. The lids of the vases are in the shape of a human head. Those dedicated to Hapi and Qebehsenuef are bearded; the eyes are painted black and white.
